Joanna practices the 'Shea Way'
Over the past 25 years of practicing colon hydrotherapy, Cathy Shea, LMT, CT and her husband Michael J. Shea, Ph.D. have developed what is now known as the "SLO-FIL" technique.
Once a person begins to take water into their body, the autonomic nervous system becomes activated.
We can moderate this activity by turning the water off intermittently, creating comfort and slowing down the process. Resting is good. This allows the client to integrate the information without becoming traumatized. It also gives them the sense of control over the process.
Often the water moves higher into the colon for a more effective cleanse.
We are documenting some great results!
